The Nigeria Police Force (NPF) has disowned a publication circulating on social media directing prospective Police Constable recruits to report for training on September 18, 2026.

The Force, in a disclaimer issued on Wednesday, said the publication did not emanate from the Nigeria Police Force and should be disregarded.

The NPF advised prospective trainees to rely solely on information communicated through their respective recruitment portals and the Force’s official communication channels for verified updates on the recruitment and training exercise.

The Force also urged members of the public to refrain from circulating unverified information capable of causing confusion or misleading prospective recruits.
