Chairman of Flow FM 92.7, Araba Femi Sanni, has urged the Super Eagles to put their semi-final loss at the Africa Cup of Nations behind them and focus on securing the bronze medal in the third-place playoff.
In a statement issued through the Stefolga Group, Sanni described the team’s exit as hurting but praised the players for their effort and commitment throughout the tournament.
He said the Super Eagles showed character and determination on the pitch, noting that their performances reflected the fighting spirit Nigerians are known for.
Sanni called on the players to regroup quickly and approach the third-place match with renewed focus, describing it as an opportunity to end the tournament on a positive note.
According to him, winning the 3rd place game would still be a strong outcome and a reminder of Nigeria’s standing among Africa’s top football nations.
He also appealed to Nigerians to continue supporting the team, stressing that the players have done the nation proud with a string outing and should relish the feats they have achieved.
