The turnout and organisational strength displayed at the event sent a clear message: the Lagos Grassroots Alliance is not a fringe group; it is a formidable political machine. The presence of over 4,000 supporters, community leaders, and APC stalwarts underscored the depth of the Alliance’s network and its ability to galvanise communities across Lagos.
The event brought together a cross-section of political leaders, including representatives of the APC governorship candidate, Dr. Kadri Obafemi Hamzat, who was represented by the Commissioner for Youth and Social Development, Hon. Mobolaji Ogunlende (RAK). Also in attendance were the APC deputy governorship candidate, Princess Damilola Sonayon-James, Senator Musiliu Obanikoro, and other prominent party figures. Their presence and commendation of the Alliance’s strength have further solidified confidence in the LGA’s capacity to contribute positively to the party’s performance at the polls.
As the 2027 elections draw nearer, the Lagos Grassroots Alliance is positioning itself as a critical player in the political landscape of Lagos State. With its renewed identity and a clear philosophy of “One Lagos, Many Voices,” the Alliance is poised to play a pivotal role in driving voter engagement and ensuring a decisive victory for the APC.
