Tunde Rahman, Senior Special Assistant to President Bola Ahmed Tinubu, has cast his vote in his hometown of Iwo, Osun State, as the governorship election gets underway.

The presidential aide, who is a respected leader in his community, was seen at his polling unit early on Saturday, exercising his democratic rights and encouraging others to do the same.

Speaking to journalists after casting his vote, Rahman reiterated his full support for the APC governorship candidate, Asiwaju Munirudeen Bola Oyebamiji (AMBO).
He described AMBO as a man of competence, experience, and compassion, who is eminently qualified to lead Osun State to a prosperous future. He also commended the peaceful conduct of the election so far and urged security agencies to remain vigilant to ensure a free and fair process.
Rahman has been actively mobilising voters in Iwo and surrounding communities, leading by example as a grassroots leader who understands the importance of active civic participation. His presence at the polls served as a rallying point for APC supporters, reinforcing the message that Osun is ready for a new dawn under the leadership of AMBO. With leaders like Rahman standing firmly behind the APC, the momentum for victory continues to build across the state.
